Providing food, clothing and aid directly to the homeless.

DIFY Charity focuses on delivering essential food, warm clothing, and moral support directly to those experiencing homelessness, ensuring they receive the help they need without barriers.

  • Our Volunteers – Our volunteers genuinely care about and are dedicated to helping those people who find themselves living on the bottom rung of society … those unfortunate, hungry, cold, frightened souls who end up alone and calling the streets their home.

Direct Outreach & Moral Support

  • Systemic Support: Assisting those who cannot access welfare and rely on panhandling or scavenging to survive.
  • Mobile Advocacy: Going directly to people on the street rather than requiring them to visit a fixed location.
  • Compassionate Care: Following the “Golden Rule” by offering friendship, encouragement and dignity to those feeling forgotten.
  • Navigation Assistance: Providing street maps and direct referrals to specialized services for addiction, seniors, Indigenous support, dental care and social services.

Essential Supplies & Winter Relief

  • Clothing Distribution: Providing donated and purchased seasonal gear, including new underwear, hats, gloves, socks and scarves.
  • Hygiene Kits: Distributing essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and deodorant.
  • Life-Saving Gear: Providing high-quality sleeping bags, coats and boots to prevent deaths from exposure during bitter winters.
  • Sleeping Bag Protocol: Issued upon request (usually next-day delivery) to ensure these expensive items are properly utilized and maintained.
  • Harm Reduction: Offering cigarettes to smokers to discourage the health risks associated with picking up discarded butts.

Community Engagement & Funding

  • Street BBQ: A seasonal event (started Summer 2024) where the homeless eat for free and the public can eat affordably to support the cause.
  • Donations: Accepting public contributions to fund the purchase of critical cold-weather survival gear.
